OKAN’S OLD MUFFIN

This project can be explained as an ongoing visual + audio +theatrical experiment turned fulltime side-project by Doc Special Ranger ET + Julian City + The Stupid Bitch + Celius + Michael Dent with some other flinkies. OKAN’S OLD MUFFIN takes on many forms and cross-genres/mediums. Sometimes it’s just ET doing weird and contorting rap/crooning Karaoke to whatever Youtube spits out – chopped up and beaten many moons over after the fact. It can also be serious studio songs made by both low and higher-tech methods, always with a touch of menace, drama or meta-horror. Nostalgia and the reanimation of youth and memory are the staple concepts of the group – blending garage hip-hop and garage punk, smooth jazz and new wave sounds. Old personal home movies and recorded performances in costume are the consistent wallpaper for OOM.
