TOPICS are a multi-disciplinary visual and audio collective comprised of Evan Tyler and Lauren Fournier. As settler artists born and raised in Treaty 4 lands, Regina Saskatchewan and currently living and working in between Regina and Toronto, they find their interests converge around a constellation of themes: from nineties nostalgia and gender performativity to generalized anxiety and conceptions of home, place and belonging. Trained in intermedia studio art, Fournier and Tyler embrace many creative acts including music and sound, image, objects, video and writing.
